Employees are more engaged when they feel like they are part of a team. Communication with them on a regular basis strengthens their sense of belonging. They have great ideas, so listen to their opinions. Employees should take part in activities that matter to them.

Meeting deadlines is one of the things that can be accomplished by mentoring and coaching others.

What keeps you motivated to keep working?

Stick to it most days of the week, and set a realistic quitting time for yourself. Don’t answer emails after 8 PM or take Sundays off. When you allow yourself some down time, you will feel more productive. If you’re motivated all the time, raise your hand!

Interviewer: What motivates you to work? You like to challenge yourself and advance on a personal level. It’s changed my confidence level and my entire life, not just my career, and this continues to keep me motivated and get me through tough days or days where things don’t go my way.
