The distance between lines of text is known as line spacing. A line spacing of 1 means the line spacing will be as large as one line, a line spacing of 2 means the line spacing will be the size of two lines, and so on.
Is 2.0 line spacing double spaced?
Double spacing is achieved by a 2.0 value. Double spacing will take place from any part of the text you are looking at. If you reset it to 1.0 for single spacing, everything will be double spacing.
How do you do two line spacing?
It is possible to double-space a Word document. To double-space the whole document, go to Design > Paragraph Spacing and choose Double. To double-space only part of the document, select the paragraphs you want to change, then choose 2.0.
