Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know that stories are all the rage in content marketing. A hero, a mentor, a villain, all exist in a particular landscape for your business.

Both of you have special powers and abilities that make it possible for you to succeed. It helps you choose metaphors, symbols, and language for your communications. Courage and strength are more important than we might think in order to defeat this evil or overcome fear. The Hero’s Journey is the most closely aligned of the ancient plot lines.

There is a long journey involved, but it is consciously chosen. Chris Guillebeau’s quest to visit every country in the world is a great example of this theme in business. Your story is about transformation through learning lessons if your business falls into this category.

Kris Karr had a strange and sudden cancer diagnosis and her journey to find healing is a good example of this in business. The narrative in a business story will talk about how you blossomed into your true power.

Tara Gentile is a good example of how you can evolve from being a creative entrepreneur to a powerful business woman. She said that not positioning herself with stories related to power did a number on her business growth. That is what people expect from me and it is even more powerful when I use those kinds of stories.

PSAs tend to start with a tragic tone and end with a happy ending. If Rebirth is your primary story plot, either you or your clients will identify with the struggle to create something new from what is old and out-dated.

There is a correlation between your primary and secondary FA scores and your primary story types, and many years of reading and researching. You will get advice on how to incorporate that primary plot into your own marketing once you take the test.

The main character is a hero with a flaw or mistake which is their undoing. Anna Karenina, Carmen, Citizen Kane, John Dillinger, Jules et Jim, Julius Caesar, Madame Bovary, and The Picture of Dorian Gray are examples.

Pride and Prejudice, The Frog Prince, Beauty and the Beast, The Snow Queen, A Christmas Carol, The Secret Garden, and Peer Gynt are examples. The hero needs to win bronze, silver, and gold objects in order to be considered a winner. Booker puts the narrative of contemporary human affairs into a new perspective by interpreting the mind of God, and by analyzing the novel, which will never be the same again. The work was described as a “brilliant summary of story-telling” by Roger Scruton.

For example, novelist and literary critic Adam Mars-Jones wrote, “Booker sets up criteria for art, and ends up condemning Rigoletto, The Cherry Orchard,Wagner, Proust, Joyce, Kafka and Lawrence, while praising Crocodile Dundee, E.T.”
