Why is 1.5 line spacing?
The single-spaced lines in Word are appropriate for letters and most documents. Changing your document line spacing to double or 1.5 lines will allow for more space between lines. When you want to make notes on a document, this is useful.
Is 1.5 double line spacing?
Half-way in between is 1/2 less than double. The same thing as 2.0 line spacing is double spacing.
Is 1.5 considered single spacing?
Half of a single spacing is 1.5 spacing. Imagine a notebook ruled by it. The distance between those lines should be single spacing. If you were to increase the gap by half of the original size, it would be 1.5 spacing.
What size is double line spacing?
There are 24 points.
